Over the past months, our group has contributed to the following articles:
- Generative AI in Software Engineering Must Be Human-Centered: The Copenhagen Manifesto
- Bridging Gaps, Building Futures: Advancing Software Developer Diversity and Inclusion Through Future-Oriented Research
- Teaching Literature Reviewing for Software Engineering Research
The first article resulted from a workshop on AI and human-centered software engineering in Copenhagen, organized by Daniel Russo in November 2023. I'm looking forward to continuing the discussion this year, again in Copenhagen!
The second artile also touches AI, but more broadly discusses the future of diversity and inclusion in software engineering. It was presented at the Software Engineering in 2030 workshop co-located with FSE 2024 in Porto de Galinhas, Brazil.
The third article is a book chapter for the upcoming Springer book on Teaching Empirical Research Methods in Software Engineering, which will hopefully be useful to many teachers and gradudate students planning to teach and conduct empirical software engineering research.
